The UCLA Center for 17th- & 18th-Century Studies and the William Andrew Clark Memorial Library offer research fellowships to graduate and post-doctoral scholars working in areas covered by the Clark’s collections.
In addition to the collections for which the Clark Library is well-known, the library houses a wealth of materials for research on topics including indigenous, ecocritical, queer, and disability studies, as well as music/musicology, foodways, how-to books, among many other areas. Historical materials are also extensive, with materials from the 15th to the 20th centuries.
A variety of fellowships are offered annually to support both short-term research at the Clark. Applications are taken online through the Center’s website annually. The submission deadline is February 1, 2023.
